Term of use

Select Your Tickets wants your purchasing experience to be efficient and enjoyable.

The following purchase policies are designed to ensure your satisfaction and understanding of Select Your Tickets purchase procedures through this website.

Payment Methods

Select Your Tickets accepts VISA and MASTERCARD as payment methods via this site.

Currency

All ticket and other pricing are in Canadian dollars, unless specified otherwise.

Pricing & Availability

Tickets can be purchased online, via our call centers, or our box offices. Therefore, tickets for popular events may sell out quickly. Occasionally, additional tickets may be available prior to the event. However, Select Your Tickets does not control this inventory or its availability since we are selling on behalf of promoters and other venues operators, which means Select Your Tickets does not set the ticket prices or determine seating and its availability.

Order Confirmation

After submitting payment you should receive a confirmation number and your ticket for printing, if you do not receive a confirmation number or your ticket, or if you experience an error message it is your responsibility to contact and confirm with our Customer Service Department. Select Your Tickets may not be aware of any problems and will not be liable for any losses if you assume an order has taken place without confirmation.

Ticket Limits

You will be limited to a certain number of tickets for each event. The event listing will contain the maximum number of tickets available to each purchaser and will be verified for each transaction. This policy is intended to discourage other buyers from engaging in unfair trade practices. If we learn that you are purchasing more than the pre-determined number of tickets for an event and engaging in practices that we, in our sole discretion, determine to be unfair, we will cancel your ticket purchase and bar access to this site.

Cancelled & Postponed Events

Occasionally, an event is cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, or venue operator due to weather, scheduling, or other unforeseen circumstances. In certain instances, we may also cancel an event due to problems with the promoter or the event listing, should this occur, we will attempt to contact you to inform you of refund or exchange procedures for that event.

For exact instructions on any cancelled or postponed event, please check the event information online or contact us. Select Your Tickets usually only offers refunds and/or exchanges based on the promoter’s or venue operator’s instructions and it is their sole discretion whether to offer a refund or exchange. In order to receive a refund or an exchange that may be offered, you will have to comply with the promoter’s or venue operator’s instructions or deadlines.

If a refund is issued, it will be issued using the same method of payment that was used to purchase the tickets. If a credit card was used to make the refunded purchase, then only that actual credit card will receive the credit for the refund. Special delivery prices or any other fees or amounts will not be refunded.

If an event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. Contact us for exact instructions.

Opening Acts

Occasionally opening acts perform and tour with headlining venues. Select Your Tickets is not always aware of their content or length and these acts may be altered or dropped without notice and no exchange or refund will be offered or issued regarding opening acts.

Refunds & Exchanges

Before purchasing your tickets, it is your responsibility to carefully review all aspects of the event, event restrictions, dates, pricing, charges, and seat selection. We will not issue any refunds or exchanges because you failed to review this information. We will also not issue any refunds for any lost, stolen, destroyed, or damaged tickets.

It is the sole discretion of the promoter or venue operator to offer any refunds and/or exchanges. In order to receive a refund or an exchange that may be offered, you will have to comply with the promoter’s or venue operator’s instructions.

Admittance & Identity

Select Your Tickets will only release possession of the ticket(s) to a named ticket holder and will only authorize the ticket personnel to release the ticket(s) if you bring either the credit card used in the booking transaction or your booking reference number as provided in your confirmatory e-mail to the ticket collection point.

You must bring printed tickets and/or the confirmation information with you to the event. Additionally, while not all events require identification, on some occasions, government-issued identification will be required by the promoter. For this reason, we recommend that you bring a valid and current government-issued photo identification (“ID”) with you to the Event. When arriving at an event, there will only be one entry per ticket. If there are multiple parties attempting to enter using the same ticket, only the first party that arrived with the ticket will be admitted.

To help us serve you better, we collect information that does not identify you personally, but rather identifies your computer or browser. This is done by using little files called “cookies” and by tracking IP addresses. A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a Website’s computers and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies operate in the background, and you can turn them off if you wish, but doing so may impair your ability to use some of the features on our Website. Specifically, we use a third-party advertising company to serve ads when you visit our Website. This company may use aggregated information (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to our Website in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. At no time can they directly access our database.

If you do not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows the user to accept or reject cookies. If you set your browser not to accept cookies, you may not be able to take advantage of certain services on our Website.

We may also use IP addresses to analyze trends, help us administer the Website, track the movement of visitors, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
