Prospera Place is a 6,886 seat multi-purpose entertainment facility in Kelowna, BC. Since opening its doors in 1999 it has been the home ice of the Kelowna Rockets.

The Victoria Royals are a major junior ice hockey team based in Victoria, BC. The Royals are in the Western Hockey League (WHL) and play their home game at the Save On Foods Memorial Center.

The Rockets arrived in Kelowna in 1995-96 after spending the first four seasons in existence in Tacoma.  After arriving in Kelowna, and shortly thereafter beginning play at Prospera Place, the Rockets have become one of the most successful franchises in the Canadian Hockey League.
