Lace Up, Kelowna! The Ultimate Celebration of Hockey & Community Returns Saturday, August 23, 2025

The free, family-friendly festival outside Prospera Place kicks off at 1:00 PM, with food trucks, custom hockey cards, the YMCA kids’ zone, limited-edition merch, and more.

Inside the arena, the ticketed Kelowna Hockey Fest Pro Game kicks off at 5:00 PM, offering fans the rare chance to watch NHL stars right here in Kelowna, all for a great cause: the YMCA SIBC.

Kelowna Hockey Fest 2025 Event Features:

● 50/50 Raffle: The online raffle is open ahead of the event, with proceeds supporting the YMCA of Southern Interior BC. Community members can purchase tickets now at ymcasibc5050.rafflenexus.com, which is the best way to support the cause besides attending.

● BC Corvette Club 60th Anniversary Show & Shine Collaboration: Over 150 Corvettes from every generation will line Water Street in celebration of the BC Corvette Club’s 60th anniversary on August 23. Bring the whole family down to check out the cars and Kelowna Hockey Fest, and celebrate the passion of two communities coming together.

● Limited Edition Merch Drop: Kelowna Hockey Fest will debut exclusive apparel available only for purchase on-site on August 23.

● Coach Chippy Returns: The wildly popular hockey influencer and bench boss is back, bringing the laughs with surprise appearances and giveaways.

● Star-Studded Lineup: Joining the returning all-star coaches, Jessica Campbell and Shea Weber, are current and future NHL stars, including Shea Theodore, Logan Stankoven, Tanner Jeannot, Ethan Bear, Tij Iginla, and Brayden Schenn.

● Jersey off the Back: Sales are open until 2:30pm on August 23rd – (1) ticket purchased guarantees you (1) jersey worn during the game, directly handed to you by a player! Players will be randomly assigned to the 40 patrons that have purchased a jersey, and you will have to be in attendance at the end of the game to receive your prize. Limited stock!
