Over the past few days, we have seen our community come together in the most amazing ways during the most devastating of circumstances. We extend our heartfelt thoughts to those who have experienced loss or been displaced and express our deepest gratitude to all of the emergency responders on the frontlines for their tireless efforts to ensure the safety of those in our community.

In light of the current situation, the firefighter vs NHL alumni game at the Capital News Centre and afternoon NHL Pro Game at Prospera Place on August 25th, 2023 have been cancelled.

However, the team from Kelowna High Performance is inviting the community to join them at the Capital New Center on Friday, August 25th at 10:00 AM and watch the Pro Camp scrimmage with the likes of Damon Severson (Columbus Blue Jackets), Curtis Lazar (New Jersey Devils) and Taylor Ward (LA Kings) as well as guest coaches Shea Weber and Josh Gorges.

The morning scrimmage will also feature a raffle and silent auction with incredible sports memorabilia, like a signed Carey Price stick, a 3-hour pontoon cruise, Okanagan Wine Festival event tickets, Under Armour apparel package and more. All funds from the silent auction and raffle will be donated directly to the West Kelowna Professional Firefighters Charitable Society.

If you had purchased tickets for the NHL Pro Game at Prospera Place via Select Your Tickets, you will be automatically refunded to the purchasing credit card on file. You are encouraged to generously pay the money forward and donate your refund to the KGH Foundation – Frontline Worker Relief.
